We wanted to take this a step further, so we asked our employees what they do at home to make an impact on the environment. Every little bit helps and together we make a BIG difference! What are your employees doing at home to make a difference?

• Recycle paper, plastic, cans, glass, anything with recycle emblem on it
• Reusable water bottles
• Reusable grocery bags
• Compost kitchen scraps
• Reuse paper: Print on the backside or cut into scrap paper 
• Collect and reuse water for plants, rinsing dishes
• Repurpose boxes and packing materials
• Donate household items and clothes to charities instead of throwing them in the landfill
• Buy recycled products when possible
• Consolidate outings and errands to cut down on emissions & conserve fuel
• Plant drought tolerant plants that require less water
• Plant a garden
• Can fruits, veggies, jams and sauces at home
• Buy less packaged products and use more fresh foods and produce
• Visit the farmer’s market each week
• Install energy efficient appliances and low flow toilet
• Volunteer for community clean ups
